WHAT IS IN A CLASS?
We start with a warm up, training foot steps, hand and leg holds, then body shapes with the pole and floor. Then learning how to move the shapes in spins and lifts gradually introducing other elements as you become familiar with the basics. Finishing up the class with a cool down.
HOW MUCH IS A POLE DANCING CLASS?
An average price of a Pole Class is £10 and we have worked hard to offer this for less especially during the downturn of the local industry. Up to date prices are on the booking system.
HOW CAN I GAIN DISCOUNT?
You can benefit from a discount if you commit to a course of consecutive classes. (See terms and conditions on courses.) Also to avoid booking fees, payment can be made direct into Pole Pursuits bank account.
Please arrive 10 minutes before start time especially on your first class and wait outside until you are called in.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Ideally for pole you will need to wear shorts and a t-shirt or vest. It’s not necessary to wear shorts for your first lesson or two but you’ll need bare skin as you progress to be able to stick to the pole. We recommend that even if you are not sure about wearing shorts you should put some in your bag and bring them to class anyway – we find people quickly get over their fear of shorts when they get annoyed by not being able to do certain tricks!
All spaces are subject to availability. No more than 3 to a pole or 15 to a class.
At Pole Pursuits, a welcoming, comfortable and safe training environment for our students is one of our top priorities. We take steps to create this down to earth environment and maintain it, as we recognise it is not easy to try a new skill in front of a group of ladies you don't know, especially if you do not wear shorts often!
In order to enable this environment, Pole Pursuits has specified class rules and etiquette which all students are expected to respect and follow. We enjoy having a group of like minded women who look forward to each others company and working together on a common goal.
BEEN TO A POLE CLASS BEFORE?
If you have trained in another class, you must train within the parameters and moves demonstrated in the specific class and level you have booked. If you do not follow our syllabus then you cannot attend our class.
